Established in 1994, the Domaine restaurants are a collection
of visionary dining concepts led by pioneering food and wine personalities
Tim and Liza Goodell. Chef Tim Goodell, voted Food and Wine Magazine’s “Best
New Chef of 2000,” showcases his talents for fresh flare in
artful renditions of classic culinary centerpieces. His visionary
partner, wife Liza Goodell, designs and operates these eye-catching
and magnetic food service facilities that are forward thinking,
functional and celebrated havens of fine cuisine.
Named “one of the country’s most talented husband-and-wife teams” by
Gourmet Magazine, restaurateurs Tim and Liza Goodell have parlayed their inspiration
and success creating Domaine Restaurants, a portfolio of brand name destinations:
Troquet at South Coast Plaza, Red Pearl Kitchen in downtown Huntington Beach, The Gaslamp District in San Diego, their newest location in the heart of Hollywood, and The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood with Dakota and 25 Degrees. Each
location was tailored to fit a niche appropriate for the location and is centered
on quality food, design and service. The Domaine restaurants have a quality look
and feel that is timely, classic, and a reflection of the soul of Tim and Liza
Goodell.
In February 2007, the Goodells finalized plans to take over The Arches, the decades-old landmark
restaurant on West Coast Highway in Newport Beach. As part-owners, they will operate and manage the
restaurant after it closes for remodeling during the summer. Other partners include movie producer MCG and real
estate developer Chris Brigandi.
